Gena
I am a mother of two beautiful children. I was introduced to Bikram's Yoga in 2005. I practiced twice a week along with going to the gym. After a while I found that going to the gym was not enough discipline for me, and I felt my body, mind, and spirit becoming more and more connected to the yoga. After practicing Bikram's yoga for a few months I quit. It wasn't until after being hospitalized for two months with appendicitis that are started practicing Bikram's again on a regular basis. I began with three classes a week and worked my way up to five. I appreciate how the yoga helped heal my body and keeps me healthy. The yoga truly works from the inside-out!
Teaching Style
Ever since I graduated from the spring 2007 training in Hawaii I have been enjoying my journey of being a teacher. Teaching is a natural feeling for me with the experience of raising children. I teach a strong dialogue based class with a calm, nurturing approach. Hope to see you soon!
