Porcher
Porcher is originally from Hong Kong. Since moving to Vancouver in 1994, she has been working as a manicurist. Porcher has always had a rigorous exercise routine; swimming, working out with cardio machines and weights before she discovered Bikram Yoga. She found that Bikram Yoga gave her the superior muscle tone and definition she wanted! After practicing Bikram Yoga for 9 years, she decided to become an instructor so that she can share her knowledge with others. Porcher enjoys helping people reach their full potential in Bikram Yoga.
Teaching Style
Porcher encourages her students to try their best every class. She is happy to demonstrate the postures, to visually illustrate the correct form. She loves it when everyone has a good class and shares their energy. Always lock your knee and suck, suck your stomach IN!
Favorite Posture
My favourite posture is triangle pose; to do it well you really need 110% of your whole body strength and that makes for an awesome workout.
Least Favorite Posture
My least favourite posture is awkward pose. After I had foot surgery I lost lot of strength in my foot. Although my foot is all healed up I struggle to get my feet up high enough. Even then I don't give up, after all its always the least favourite postures that we all got to work on the most!
